Hey! My name is Jordan and…
I love Jesus.
I love my family.
I love Carolina basketball.
I love coffee.
And I love writing.
I’m a newlywed and UNC-Chapel Hill graduate (Go Heels!) overwhelmed by the new life that sits before me as a twenty-something and still attached to the one I just left. For the past few years, I’ve spent my time on this blog discussing the many lessons that God has taught me through the lens of life at a university and now in the 9-to-5 grind. I continue to think that with the passing of each year, I’ve done all of my growing up — but as I enter into each new phase of life, I am starting to see that I still have quite a ways to go.
I started this blog on a whim in 2011, and I’ve been amazed at how God has used this as a tool not only for outreach, but to teach me to seek His purpose in every aspect of my life. This platform has been such a blessing to me, and I pray that it will not be a haven for narcissism, but rather a place to talk about how every instance in life points back to the amazing God we serve.
The ultimate goal for my little corner of the Internet is to be able to take the situations I encounter — the best and the worst of them — and always question how God is using them for His kingdom. So bear with me as I try to find the beauty of being imperfect, appreciate life even on my worst days, and learn to always give God the glory. I think we can all learn something from putting our feelings out there for everyone to see, taking a moment to soak in and boldly approach what it means to be vulnerable.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy reading my posts as much as I enjoy writing them.
